Our Story

I started Mountain River Candles during the pandemic in 2020 as a creative outlet, blending my passion for handmade candles with custom scent creation. What began as a personal project has grown into something I'm truly proud of. As a single mother of three, I've balanced full-time work with building this business.  It took hard work, family support, and unwavering belief in my dreams to get here. My travels across nearly every US state and around the world have shaped the warmth and wanderlust I pour into every candle I create. Each Mountain River Candle is handcrafted with intention—combining my love of scent with the cozy, rustic aesthetic that defines who we are. I believe in the magic of small moments, the comfort of home, and the power of pursuing what sets your soul on fire!!
