The secret to a perfect burn every time.
Your candle deserves a little love. Follow these simple tips to get the most out of every pour:
Trim your wick. Before every burn, trim your wick to about ¼ inch. This keeps the flame clean and prevents soot.
Let it pool. On your first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar — this prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn every time after.
Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. Burning longer than 4 hours can cause the wick to mushroom, the jar to overheat, and the scent to diminish. Give your candle a rest between burns.
Never leave your candle unattended. Always keep a burning candle within sight and extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Keep away from children and pets. Place candles out of reach of little hands and curious paws, and never leave them burning in a room unsupervised.
Keep it away from drafts. A flickering flame means uneven burning. Find a calm, cozy spot for your candle to shine.
Know when to stop. Stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains to protect the jar and the surface beneath it.
Light it up and let the scent take you somewhere.
